The research topic that I chose was pirates. More specifically I will be reading and learning and studying more about female pirates. Female pirates was an interesting topic throughout the time because unlike regular pirates they were females and were looked  at different. Female pirates weren't allowed on the ship and often covered and disguised their looks from the other pirates. The topic was interesting to me because I always felt like I wasn't like other people and that I was different myself. Growing up I was a left handed boy and different than my peers. When playing sports I always had to things the opposite way than the average person would have to do it. Female pirates were common and known, they weren't average pirates either.
